Overview
Dr. Hatem Akeel is an associate professor of economics and the vice
president for academic affairs at University of Business and Technology. He
received his Ph.D degree from Claremont Graduate University in California USA.
He is an economist focusing on global markets, exchanges rates determinations,
stock market analysis and international finance and investment. He published
several journal papers cited in WoS and Scopus. He worked as an investment
manager of 2 billion Riyal projects before joining academia. He is an
accredited small medium enterprise (SME) consultant from the Association of
Accredited Small Business Consultants (AASBC).
