A top management professional with over 21 years mixed industrial, business, and academic experience (KSA and Ireland).
In Industry, 16 years were dedicated in many aspects such as project management, project engineering & consultancy, contract management, estimating, budgeting, claims & settlement, operations management, plant staffing/training/layoff, innovation process, product development, and international health & safety practices. This period has included a higher management activity such as Business Strategic development for business expansions, operational process optimization. Holds credentials in managing over 100 projects across construction, industrial, utilities and the product development sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Exhibits strong project management skills including project scheduling and monitoring coupled with structured inputs for optimal resource utilization, materials management, site management, and cost rationalization. Core strengths in providing contracting support, from pre-award through contract administration and close-out. Result driven: works judiciously and methodically to achieve and exceed company-mandated goals.
In academia, around 6 years as academic practitioner and key member of several university’s executive committees. Involved in teaching, faculty/student research development, program developments & accreditation. Oversee more than 60 faculty members within 9 departments for undergrads and 5 MBA programs for postgrads. Involved in developing and launching academic degrees in sport management, tourism/hospitality and business analytics. Taught several subjects in the field of industrial engineering and business such as supply chain management, project management, quality management, change management, managerial cost accounting, entrepreneurship, and feasibility study. In 2018, proposed the establishment of the Enterprise Development Authority and the efficiency of hypocrisy in the Kingdom.
